     These new products are entering production with market leading cable manufacturers and will add to the large installed base of The MGS Group equipment throughout the world.

The Combination Dancer / Capstan Unit is one of our most recent developments.  It was designed to maintain a consistent Catenary within a process when using an entry and exit dancer / capstan along with servomotor, load cell and a PLC controlled system to maintain set parameters.

    The dancer / capstan unit provides precision speed and tension control, all in one compact safety enclosure. The unit can be sized for each application.

     The Northampton Triple Twist TT560/630 Machine, for the production of Category LAN Cable pairs, has a pair production rate 50% faster than a traditional Twinner with the same bow rotating speed and using less than half the floor space.

    Further down the process line, the MGS/HALL FAT-18 Fully Automatic Takeup, with ReelBOT Depalletizer/Palletizer and Automatic Labeler, takes factory automation to new levels of productivity. The FAT-18 loads empty reels, starts the product on the reel, winds, stops at length, cuts, wraps, and unloads the completed packages -- all automatically.
