Lift Arm OperationWidth Control - Both arms move in and out simultaneously. This is accomplished with left and right hand Acme screws driven by a reversible gear motor through a torque limiter. A lever switch to control this is mounted on one of the lift arms.Lift Control - The reel lift is accomplished by air cylinder(s). The solenoid air valve is controlled by the same four position lever switch that controls the IN-OUT arm movement. Stops are provided so that the arms are stabilized when in the full UP position. Drive Arm and Spindle AdaptorsA drive arm is provided with an adjustable drive pin to fit your reel requirements. Both pintle shafts have replaceable arbor adapters so that any size arbor hole can be accommodated. One set of adapters to your required diameter will be included. |

Digital TraverseOur digital traverse system is used. This system allows the operator to set the wire diameter directly on a four digit control. For example, for ? inch diameter wire, the operator would set 0.125. This system greatly facilitates set up in addition to giving an improved traverse lay. In the traversing frame model, the frame traverses on the floor using 6 inch diameter Urethane wheels. A product guide unit with cam rollers is bolted to the floor to guide the unit. There is no track that extends on either side of the unit. A motor drives the unit through a timing belt. |
